Shows Iβve watched recently (February 2023)
- Little Women (2022), Netflix 12-episode, K-drama, excellent β references a lot of Korean culture and history (military dictatorship and corruption of former president Park Chung-Hee), secret societies, how the rich & powerful can get away with almost any crime in Korea, but eventually how the good can prevail, a tumultuous rags-to-riches story that is a remake of a 19th century novel by the same name, director of Vincenzo, reddit review
- The Glory (2022), Netflix 6-episode (1 of 2 parts) Korean-drama, excellent β themes of extreme class divides (see: gapjil), justice and revenge for a victim of bullying
- Kaleidoscope (2022), Netflix 8-episode heist, can be watched in βany order,β decent
- Half Bad (2022), Netflix 6-episode (not renewed) YA book adaptation, barely watchable
Animes I think about + want to share
- Sword Art Online (2012-2020), 4 seasons, s2 was skippable for me, s4 was profound sci-fi (1984, Fahrenheit451, Dune) level
